Are there any signs of diabetes? And what are the different types?

The reason I’m asking this is because lately my heart just seems to be feeling odd like it’s working harder than it used to for no reason on a daily basis. Sometimes it really hurts to the point that I have to hold my chest. And the blood circulation in my wrists and legs just seem to well… feel like they’re tightening, sensitive, and/or feeling empty(or a little numb) and I don’t know why.

How does Diabetes hurt the skin? & what are the signs of Diabetes?

I read on the doctors wall where they have posters informing you of different diseases and they had one where diabetes can hurt your skin and said “Protect Your Skin” And I am just curious to know. How does diabetes hurt your skin? What would your skin look like when it is affected by diabetes?
My concern is because my mom know has Diabetes type 2 and I am concern for myself and not sure if I have the signs. No health insurance.

Can anyone tell me what the signs of diabetes are?

Well I’m 14 and I’m wondering because it runs in my family, and my doctor told me i’m at a lot higher risk of getting it, so i’ve been kind of paranoid.

Some of the symptoms that I had are hunger and thirst, headaches, blurry vision, dizzy, slow healing cuts.

Do you think I should be tested?

I have extremely dry skin on my feet and legs. Can this be one of the signs of diabetes?

The skin on my legs is so dry that I end up making myself bleed when I scratch them. I also have cracked heels on my feet and cannot feel the callused areas on my feet anymore.
I have also been told that I am borderline type 2 diabetic.
